Who? [Her brows drew together. The timing was uncanny , and Armin had been oddly quiet but... he was far too timid to go to Krieg for anything, right?] I haven't gone to see Jack yet. I'm fine, Krieg.
[...Honestly, it's probably a good thing he's so worked up about Armin and Angel's current tears. He's so focused on that, Jack's name doesn't even phase him.]
[Under her breath, she uttered a short curse, or at least a curse with training wheels. She appreciated Armin's concern, but this was hardly the way to go about it. It was clear that whatever details he'd imparted on the psycho, they weren't very good ones.]
Nothing! He didn't... it was my fault. I told him about Pandora, about Jack and what you did to help me. I... was more overwhelmed than I expected.
That...makes a lot of sense, honestly. Angel can probably see Krieg's indignant rage evaporate in the face of her explanation. After a moment, he relaxes visibly, lowers his 'Gear away from his face to a more reasonable distance, and fidgets a few times while he works out an intelligible response.]
Mmng...
[He drops his gaze briefly and fidgets a bit more before looking back at her again.]
[Frustrating as Armin's reaction had been, it was touching in a way. He'd gone to one of the few people that both understood her past and also consistently brightened her future. Likewise, Krieg's response garnered a very similar reaction.]
[He probably doesn't need to run back to the inn to make sure, but...he's going to, anyway. He studies her face closely for several long moments, bringing the device back up to his face in order to do so, before grunting his acknowledgement.]
[Angel opened her mouth to protest, but closed it again. There was no sense arguing with him -- the determination of a psycho was nigh impossible to beat.]
[Instead, she simply shook her head and sat back on her bed. He'd be there soon enough. At the very least, as long as he was with her, she'd know that he wasn't attempting to enact revenge on Armin.]

I'll be fine soon enough, I promise.
