You... you could send me more, if you wanted. That might be kind of nice.
[She... wasn't exactly eager to start up a conversation, but they were having a nice enough time as it was. It wouldn't be so hard to continue it for just a little longer, she thought. Especially with such an innocuous start.]
I'll pass along the appropriate ones. There's....there's a bunch that aren't.
Good, good. Done anything fun lately? Got any cute new Pokemon?
[If he asks her direct questions, he's got a better chance of an actual conversation.]
Not bad! Busy, ya know. Work and everything. My employees keep poofing into non-existence, that kinda sucks. Uh...I dunno, I think maybe I'm seeing somebody?
That's a hell of a name, princess. What is she? I picked up an Ursaring last vacation I took, I shown you him yet?
Yeah, it sucks. I think I'm gonna start employing locals, try and avoid that whole thing. At least in the professional arena. It's pretty shitty there's no warning or anything. Put all this effort into getting to know somebody and everything then they're friggin gone.
Leaving me with killer Pokemon that want to eat me. Or everything I own.
He's cool! I named him Goliath, we've been teaching him how to box. And hey, now I know what a 'bear hug' really is! Oh, Glameow, yeah, I've got...well, she's evolved into a Purugly by now, but she started as a Glameow. They're good Pokemon, Zarpy pretty much single-handedly got me my Violet badge.
...actually, it's kinda weird. Shibooboo or whatever hasn't ever tried to bite me or anything, but I have to take him at least once a week to the Center to get stuff taken out of him. He ate a living room chair, Angel. I was in the shower for like fifteen minutes and I come back and he's eaten almost a whole chair. Havoc, on the other hand, I can't let that dude out of his ball or he goes for the closest throat.
[Which...well, okay, that's Jack's fault. He can't deny it or twist things around to make it sound any different.]
....but ya know what? That one's on me. When he was a puppy, my buddy was having trouble with him and I passed on some skag training tips I remembered from when Nisha was training skags. They, uh, they worked way too well and now he's a level hundred houndoom with a taste for blood. Which was funny when he was my friend's, 'cause he listened to him and shit. He doesn't listen to me. I don't think he even accepts me as his trainer.
I've seen Puruglies before. I am... not particularly fond of the name. Inaccurate if you ask me. I think if Smoosh decides to evolve, she will be quite precious.
Who is Shibooboo? Oh, and how is Doom Bob? I have not heard from him in ages!
[Angel grimaced at the last of his words, opting to pretend once again that she hadn't heard him. As if she wanted to talk about viscera and the like when she in a peaceful land.]
Really? I think it suits'em. I mean...compared to Glameow. And if ya ask me, Puruglies have better temperament. Mine does, anyway.
Oh, he's this Haxorus I inherited. A buddy of mine went home, he left me a bunch of his Pokemon. I dunno what's wrong with him, he eats stuff he's not supposed to eat. D.B.'s doing good, a little jealous I've got another dog.
But uh...I kinda mentioned that for a reason. Cause I know you've got...a different approach to training than me. Was kinda wondering if you had any tips. I feel kinda...shitty, keeping Havoc in his ball all the time? The thing wants to run around and stuff. And he was my buddy's starter ya know? Plus, he's literally my most powerful Pokemon, I wanna be able to train him and battle with him. Manaka keeps telling me I should let him out with D.B., let'em influence each other, but...
Honest to god, princess, I'm scared to let my little guy anywhere near'im. D.B.'s a lover, not a fighter!

I do have a new pokemon though. Her name is Princess Smoosherella, but I call her Smoosh for short. I can let her out later, if you would like?
[It's true. She can answer questions good, she just doesn't like making small talk.]
I'm sorry you're losing some of your workers. [Just... pointedly ignoring his love life, thank you.]

Or both? [Wouldn't that be nice? Getting rid of Jack in one fell swoop.]
