[Contrary to his earlier statement, Anders actually can provide an extra bit of heat, in a roundabout way. Tiny had caught on to his arranged meeting with Angel and insisted on being the one to accompany him. The pair wait just inside the Center, as promised, the Ponyta standing comfortably near her trainer and even seeking his hand to nuzzle.]

[Unfortunately for Anders, he'd picked the wrong companion. Angel's eyes fell upon the mage only for a second, before she was completely distracted by the pony beside him. Approaching quickly but carefully, the girl knelt before the pokemon and wrapped her arms around its neck.]

I've missed you, my friend. [Angel blinked, then looked up at the blond.] And... er-- You too, of course.

[Anders can only smile warmly as Tiny returns the favor and nudges at Angel's head with her muzzle.]

It would appear that we've both missed you as well.

[Angel's laugh was a delighted one, and she returned the nuzzle with a kiss to the star on Tiny's head. After a moment of consideration, she gave the horse another one, before finally standing and embracing her other friend.]

Have you been well? Did you enjoy your holidays?

[Anders is just as pleased to receive a hug, holding Angel warmly for a moment before allowing her breathing room again.]

They've been the most pleasant in my memory, I think. And yours?

I could say the same. [After all, it was the first time she'd actually been able to celebrate. The thought almost threatened to break her smile. Instead, she traced a hand down to Anders' own, clutching it gently.]
