[The little lagomorph pauses, then nods rather conversationally. It's sort of rude that she interrupted it, but it will forgive this transgression.
For a moment, it continues chittering, but is soon interrupted by a Swirlix floating over to shove Bunnelby away, effectively bodying her with its sweet fluff. They proceed to begin fussing at each other, the Swirlix taking on a smug expression and the Bunnelby a thoroughly offended one.
[Oh, right, her manners! She's very quiet as the Bunnelby continues "talking." Though, now the Swirlix is involved and it's looking like it's going to turn into quite the mess.]
[Fortunately, the sound of a strange voice brings their trainer running before the squabble can get too rowdy. Although it sounds at first like another Pokemon approaching, because... he's growling.
It seems to bring the two Pokemon back to reality, though, and they push away from one another as human legs come into view. There's a pause, then a grunt, before the boy picks up the Gear and looks into it, surprised to find it on.]
[Angel is at least... marginally certain she's never met this boy in her life. She's befriended a lot of people, of course, but she usually tries to remember their faces. Dimly, she wonders if he's from Pandora -- it would be easy to recognize her without offering the ability for her to do the same.
[The boy nods once in response as if that explains everything. Though, as the Swirlix from before floats up to stand on his head, he seems to realize the person in the Gear is more confused than anything.]
Oh -- No. Sorry. It's -- [She puts her hands up, waving the young man off. She... has literally done nothing wrong here, and yet she still feels guilty. Must be a day that ends in 'y.']
I'm sorry to have disturbed you. Your Pokemon most have dialed me by accident.
[Because he doesn't know what that word means, Razor stares blankly for another moment. Then he looks down, at what must be the Bunnelby, and appears to watch it scramble away.
Then it dawns on him.]
Oh... No! I am sorry. My Lunch... she is... misbehaving. A lot. Sugar Cloud, also.
[This ball of cotton candy has no shame at all. Look at the smirk on its face.]
[Holding the Gear (not particularly steadily), he makes for the other side of the room to stoop down and scoop the Bunnelby into his free arm. She appears content to go limp in his grasp, eyes closing in a smile. And the candyfloss dog somehow stays perfectly balanced on him the entire time.]
This is Lunch. She is naughty, but animals... don't know what is naughty. So... It is my fault, not hers.
[And all at once, the breath rushes out of Angel's lungs in a relieved sigh. It was probably poor manners on her part to make such an assumption of the child. On the other hand, it was a hell of a name to give a Pokemon.]
You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. I can't imagine you've made a habit of caring for Pokemon before this. I am sure it will take time for you to adjust to the nuances of caring for this creatures.
[That... is quite reasonable logic, and not something he'd necessarily have considered on his own. He doesn't spend a lot of time wondering why, he just accepts things as they are.]
No. Only... one moon ago, I came. [He sits back down, Lunch plopped over lazily in his lap and Sugar Cloud nestling deeper into his hair.] You have been here long?
[Angel looks a little relieved. The young man hadn't fought against her point. With luck, he'd actually taken it to heart.]
That isn't long at all. [She nods to his second question.] Quite a long time, yes... I believe last fall would have been the end of my fourth year here. Though I will admit, there were several months that I wasn't here, as well.

Um. Hello? Is anyone here to keep these two calm?
[It sure looks like there's about to be a fight!]

It would explain the growling, too, honestly.]
Um. Me?

I'm Angel, by the way.
