[Somehow, the ball master had become a pretty effective parent. Much as he tried to play the role of aloof cool guy, it turned out that Jean was a rather tender individual. It wasn't something that surprised Angel anymore, but awhile back...
Of course, Jean wasn't the only one that had surprised her. Armin had also defied her initial assumptions too.]
[Had he simply been growing up, or was Angel getting to know him better? She wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer -- both were sweet enough thoughts in their own right.]

I hope it is a Hoothoot. I think I only have enough room for one Oricorio in my life.
[Bailey was a treat, truly one of Angel's favorite Pokemon. BUt she had a lot of personality, and Angel didn't think she could handle two of her. Especially if her hatchlings took after her.]
Sometimes I miss how easy it was for Amadeus to sit on my shoulder when he was still a Hoothoot. Not that he isn't great like this too, but you know.

And at the sound of someone calling her name perfect, Amelia lets out a little thrill, fluffing out her breast feathers. Yes, it definitely looks like this little bird has a big personality like her momma. ]
If I wind up getting a Hoothoot, I'll be sure to treasure every moment I get, then.
