From when you were where you came from or something else?
I agree, though I can be fiercely competitive when challenged. It's an easier way to make money than working behind a counter and if my pokemon like it, why not give it a go?
Well, don't get too comfy. You'll have to make a trip to visit us whenever that happens! I agree about the boxes, though. It's part of why we've talked about this. I'm already at a team of four and I don't want to have more than six until I can leave them somewhere other than a day care.
I'm glad you're alright now. You ARE alright, aren't you?
I don't mind that. Chris'll do stock occasionally or help with heavy lifting, but I don't have much of a bedside manner. I can definitely see how you do, though. I think you're probably really good at that.
That's good! I guess if we also settle down, I'll try to make sure it's not too much of a hassle!
I'm really glad to hear that, I honestly am. Considering what I know of your life, I think you deserve it.
I see. I'm sure there's a job for that, though. It's just as invaluable.
OK, OK. I get it. I'm not ditching prom even if it means I have to wear something I can't fight in. Not like I've had any scuffles here, anyway. I mean, it's a pretty long event, right? No way we can be missed.
There is, and I enjoy doing it. It's something I'd like to stick with, maybe get back into once we're settled again.
Good. I look forward to you being there. I am certain you won't have to fight there. Even if you do, as long as you're able to have your Pokemon with you.
You're welcome. Hope the good times keep coming for you.
Glad to hear it. I'm still just kind of floating along with Chris, but I'm alright with it all being kind of aimless and simple for now. I've never really had time off. Straight out of high school, I went to the army and never stopped. It's nice to do something just for me for once.
I wonder how that'll work out, by the way? I assume most people will have their pokemon out. We don't have too many run-ins with trainers outside of battles so ours seem to latch on pretty easily to friendly pokemon. I'm just worried about Chris' Bewear...
I hope you get to keep doing things for you, Jill. I think you deserve a break just as much as I do.
Sometimes it's okay to have Pokemon that don't fight. My Floette rarely gets into a fight. Unless you are saying he is unfriendly? I could be interpreting things wrong...
I'm just happy being with Chris, however much time we get together. Kinda cliche and lame, but it feels less... complicated when he's around? It's always been "Jill and Chris" as long as I can remember and I don't mind my individuality being that.
Man, I'm lame.
She likes to fight! The thing is she doesn't seem to get her own strength and has a hard time holding back. I guess being affectionate is a trait of their type. Guess Chris is the right trainer for her, he's about the only person I can think of that could survive a bone-crushing hug. On the other hand, it's best friends with my Eevee.
[ Case in point, she sends an attached photo of a very content-looking Bewear sleeping in a sitting position with a just as happy Eevee curled in its lap and a Pachirisu over its shoulder. It's a far cry from the days when Bewear was Stufful, that's for sure. ]
I understand. With Krieg, things... I suppose they're still complicated, but they're less frightening. Not much can scare you when your best friend has arms the size of tree-trunks.
If that makes you lame then surely I'm just the same.
Maybe you should work on finding Pokemon that can withstand her grasp? If she and Chris are able to bond, then maybe you need more Pokemon that are like Chris. Perhaps a Machoke? ... She's very cute though. All of your Pokemon are.
I think I'd rather be complicated than overly simple. But I hear you on that. Chris wasn't quite this muscular three years ago, but I guess it's the natural course of things. I've changed, too.
I guess I have to take it back, then. ;)
Hm... I was pretty sure Pachirisu was exactly like him, but I guess you're right now that I've seen that one! I didn't even know that existed. I'll show that to him later.
We kind of got off on a rough start since she'd hurt Chris, but I'm pretty fond of her. Chris recently got a Fennekin, as well. Are fire types hard to find or something? He got it from an egg because we were having poor luck finding one and it seemed essential with all the camping we do to have something that could help keep us warm.
Now that I think about it, he has a lot of really cute pokemon... I'll be sure to tease him about that, too.
... You know, I just realized that I rhymed there, haha.
Hopefully it helps both Chris and your Beware! I don't want her to feel bad because she hurt people. I know sometimes it can be hard for Pokemon to restrain themselves -- just like with any other animal, I suppose.
I'm not sure? Krieg has a bunch of fire types, and I have Bailey, so there hasn't been a huge struggle on our part. Perhaps they're just harder to come by in earlier areas?
That's what we're trying to teach her. She's so affectionate, but she doesn't seem to get she's not like some of the other ones and a hug from her can crush bones. She's well-meaning, so we've mostly tried the "let us hug you" approach, but she really likes to respond. It probably feels like she's not holding anyone at all when she does it lightly.
I hope so! I'd like to see more of them outside of the ones we've met. I know there's Charizard and Talonflame, but I haven't seen any in the wild. I don't think we've seen any fairy types except for yours and that's on screen...
Maybe just a little bit! Do any of yours feel, well, "like you"?
I know what you are doing, and I'm judging you for it.
You and Chris both seem like very determined people. I am certain that in time, you two will figure out what needs to be done, and your Bewear will be all the better for it. I believe in you two.
Hopefully at prom you'll be able to meet Bailey. She's a fire and flying type, and has a very "spicy" personality.
Probably Adorababy. He's very reserved at times but he cares for everyone he's close to, and even some people he's never even met before.
Thank you. I guess we'll have to keep a close eye on her for now and make sure she's not over-excited by the prospect of hugging people.
You say you're judging me and yet you made that joke. I don't really think it's fair to play at a game like that.
I'd say that sounds a lot like you, at least based on how well I know you/what I know of you. I wouldn't want to be presumptuous and act like I know you extremely well or anything, but it seems fitting.
There's just something about you that makes me almost nice.
I get the feeling you hear that a lot.
[ She sends a photo of her Midday Lycanroc, dozing off and curled up. A little like it doesn't realize it's gotten so much bigger than it used to be. It's almost dignified, almost elegant, almost pretty.... At least Jill would describe it that way. It's a little too rough around the edges that she'd call it that rather than more masculine adjectives like sturdy or something like reliable -- which she considers to be one of her good points. ]
My Rockruff evolved into this. I thought she was going to have more reddish fur, but I guess there are two different evolutions.
Well... I won't tell anyone that you have a nice side, okay? Your secret is safe with me. And my secret of whether or not I hear that I'm cute is also safe with me.
[The Lycanroc isn't exactly her type of Pokemon, but then, she supposed it might have to be one day. Her recently inherited Rockruff slept fitfully at her side, still just as troubled by the recent loss of its former owner.]
That sounds a little like I got the short end of the stick in that deal, doesn't it? But I guess there are shorter sticks to be had. Twigs, even.
[ Jill's begrudgingly accepted that it might be her type. She's not sure how she feels about "rock" as a type, but from what she knows about it's unwavering loyalty? It's the kind of pokemon she surrounds herself with. Not because she wants pokemon that will be loyal to her, but because it's a trait she relates to and deeply values.
She kind of misses the cute mutt it was, though. ]

The first one.
That's true. Though I much prefer helping people out at the Pokecenters. I like being able to make them feel better about their friends.
Even if I do settle down, I'll still make lots of trips to come see people. I promise!!!!

More than alright. The best I have ever been.
I'm just good at comforting the people who bring the Pokemon in. I... couldn't ever tend to an injured Pokemon I don't think. I'd be too upset.
Good. I want to see you, and I'll keep saying it until I do.

Hopefully. I'll be sure to "beware" when I get there, and only give polite handshakes. I can live without a hand for awhile.
Shhhhh 0:)
No, that is... exactly like me, you are correct. It fits me to a "t"

I feel like you're cheating somehow if you get to keep doing this. Is it because it's cute when you do it?
Still don't like to assume, but I guess everyone forms an opinion of their own, right? :) I'm probably most like my Lycanroc.
