[If anything, most of them are leading far more normal lives here than they ever did back in their own worlds!
I--
[Oh no, now Angel has done it. Now Armin has to try and figure out what he goes to see first. Which is terrible on account of there being so much he wants to see and do. And some of it depends on how much of Sinnoh they will let them see. They can visit Eterna city, which already thrills Armin, but what about beyond that? Can they visit other towns? The area around Eterna city?
Lance had sent them some sort of document, but for once, Armin hadn't immediately read it. He'd been too busy running excitedly over to where Angel was.]
I... don't know. We'll have to make a list. Order things based on travel time. We only have two weeks so we should try and minimise time spent travelling as much as we can.
I know there is a museum in Eterna City. I definitely want to see that, so maybe we could start there. I think miss Maya would like to see it too.
We could always start as far out as possible and work our way back to the beginning, too!
[She'll need to start going over every bit of information they have about Sinnoh between them. It's been awhile since she's researched the other regions -- better to not dream of that which she couldn't reach. But she won't let a single moment of this trip go to waste.]
Maya will love the Museum, I'm sure. And I'm sure there will be plenty of shopping to be done, new foods to try. Do you suppose they have local pokemon treats?
[Adorababy, the spoiled creature he is, deserves only the best. That's especially true now that his second favorite person is no longer with them. And Punkface will surely appreciate the treat as well.]
I'm sure they do. It's a different region, after all. They must have their own traditions and ways of doing things.
[Armin sighs. It's not a sad sigh though; it's an absolutely happy, giddy one. Last month was rather... well, it was crap, but right now, none of that matters. Right now, he feels like there is nothing that could spoil his mood.]
[Now that she's fully balanced, and a little more aware of their close proximity, Angel reaches for Armin's hands. There's a flush on her cheeks, but she ignores it for the most part in favor of squeezing his fingers between hers.]
[Armin can feel his cheeks heat up. Suddenly, he is acutely aware of Angel's body right next to his, the way her face is turned up to look at him, her small hands between his own. This close, he can even make out the freckles dusting the bridge of her nose and cheeks.
He can feel his throat go dry and he shouldn't be thinking like this at all, right? Noticing any of this. Angel is a friend, just a friend. She's always been friendly and outgoing with him, always quick to touch. Maybe a bit quicker even, the last month. But, he reasons, that is from Krieg leaving. Sometimes you just need a physical reminder of the people, the friends, that are still here. It doesn't mean anything.]
[It doesn't too long to pick up on the shift in mood. Angel steps back, releasing Armin's hands just as quickly as she had taken them. She'd gotten too eager, come on too strong after a month of moping. She could hardly blame Armin for being surprised.
With her own hands now free, she scratches the back of her neck a little sheepishly. Her gaze drops to the floor as her cheeks flush a faint shade of pink.]
I should start doing my research, right? We can talk more when we have a better idea of what's going on?
[When Angel pulls back her hands, Armin's cheeks got a bit redder. And he is kicking himself mentally. See, it wasn't meant as anything more as friendship. His reaction had made things weird.]
Yeah, that sounds good. I didn't even read the document Lance sent us. [Admitted as if it is the greatest sin. Which it is, to a nerd like Armin.] I was just so excited I wanted to talk to someone immediately. So. I should go read that now.
We can make lists. Things to do in Eterna City and the other areas. And then we can plan from there.
[She takes a step further back into her room. Embarrassed or no, she still looks plenty pleased with the recent developments. Nothing will bring down her sense of adventure.]
Maybe we can even find new Pokemon? Of course, we'll probably have to figure out the best teams to bring. Oh! [She turns, already shuffling around for her Gear. It's time to start planning.]
the first, labelled 'an acute angle' and the second, which is very definitely a picture taken of Angel when she was napping on the couch at some point, curled up with Adorababy and looking very cosy, labelled 'a cute angel'.]
We could do a second vote if you want, but I'm afraid you'll be powerless against our overwhelming might. You may as well accept your fate as Island's Cutest now.
Hope these help. Let me know if I need to send you two any more.
The good thing is that chickenpox torchicpox isn't one of those diseases that mutate every year like the flu, so once this is over you'll never have to worry again.
Though when you have time, it might be a good idea to see if you can get vaccinated for as many things as you can. Even if you had those vaccines in your future, the strains here might be different.
[A few stray clicks through the network history, and suddenly a call comes in from a stranger.
Or rather, Angel will find if she decides to pick up, from a Bunnelby. At first, it appears startled, but soon is chittering into the Gear as if this were a perfectly casual occurrence. Would she care to have a conversation with a naughty sweet little bunny?]
[The little lagomorph pauses, then nods rather conversationally. It's sort of rude that she interrupted it, but it will forgive this transgression.
For a moment, it continues chittering, but is soon interrupted by a Swirlix floating over to shove Bunnelby away, effectively bodying her with its sweet fluff. They proceed to begin fussing at each other, the Swirlix taking on a smug expression and the Bunnelby a thoroughly offended one.
[Oh, right, her manners! She's very quiet as the Bunnelby continues "talking." Though, now the Swirlix is involved and it's looking like it's going to turn into quite the mess.]
[Fortunately, the sound of a strange voice brings their trainer running before the squabble can get too rowdy. Although it sounds at first like another Pokemon approaching, because... he's growling.
It seems to bring the two Pokemon back to reality, though, and they push away from one another as human legs come into view. There's a pause, then a grunt, before the boy picks up the Gear and looks into it, surprised to find it on.]
[Angel is at least... marginally certain she's never met this boy in her life. She's befriended a lot of people, of course, but she usually tries to remember their faces. Dimly, she wonders if he's from Pandora -- it would be easy to recognize her without offering the ability for her to do the same.
[The boy nods once in response as if that explains everything. Though, as the Swirlix from before floats up to stand on his head, he seems to realize the person in the Gear is more confused than anything.]
