and when exactly would you have had TIME or an environment where it was safe to practice your abilities without technological help? i know you're looking at this from your point of view, which is colored by a lot of other stuff, but REALLY think about it. how could you have learned? where could i have taken you? what if there'd been more accidents, 'cause neither one of us get how to control your specific abilities? it's not like it's some failing in you, sweetheart, it was just shitty circumstances.
